Monitoring the Flex System chassis health

The following procedure describes how to monitor the health of the Flex System chassis and chassis modules.

Procedure

1. Log in to the Operations Manager console.
2. In the left navigation pane, click Monitoring > Lenovo Hardware > Flex System Chassis and Modules.
3. To view the overall status of the Flex System chassis, select the Flex System Chassis view.
4. To view the critical or warning alerts associated with the hardware, click Active Alerts. To learn more about the alerts, refer to Using Health Explorer to view and resolve problems.
5. To view the chassis module information, click Hardware Components, and select the chassis module that you want to check.

   The views in the Hardware Components subfolder include:

   • Compute Nodes

   • Cooling Modules

   • Fan Logic Modules

   • I/O Modules

   • Chassis Management Modules (CMM)

   • Power Modules

   • Rear LED Modules

   • Storage Modules
