The following procedure describes how to register Operations Management Server.
To work with Operations Management Server, you should register the Management Server in XClarity Integrator Service.
Once a Management Server is registered, XClarity Integrator Service automatically lists all Management Servers in the same management group. XClarity Integrator Service connects to one Management Server at a time. If the connected Management Server stops responding, XClarity Integrator Service automatically connects to another online Management Server.
Procedure
- Log in to XClarity Integrator Service. See Logging in to XClarity Integrator Service.
- In the Lenovo XClarity Integrator Management window, click Management Server in the left pane.
- Do one of the following:
If XClarity Integrator Service is installed on the same Windows operating system as the Management Server, the Management Server is automatically registered. Other Management Servers in the same management group are listed in the table.
If XClarity Integrator Service is installed on different Windows system as the Management Server, click Register button to register a Management Server.
- Select the Managements Server, and click Credentials to edit the credentials if needed.
- The Management Server connected to XClarity Integrator Service is marked as current. If you want to connect to another Management Server, you can select the Management Server and click current.
- Click Refresh to see the latest Management Server status.
Do not connect to same management group from different XClarity Integrator Services if there are multiple XClarity Integrator Services.
