Overview

The ‘Devices and Racks’ page contains all the devices discovered, imported, and manually added. On this page, you can edit the device information, e.g., the ‘Name’, the ‘Description’, etc. You can also delete a device from the list, or apply a filter to show a subset of the devices only.

If a device in the table is showed with a hyperlink, you may go to hierarchy view of the device by clicking the hyperlink. Otherwise you may need to add the device to hierarchy in Datacenter Management page.

After the device is added, if the “Device Status” is “Lost Connection”, you may need to wait for 3 ~ 6 minutes.

Excluding network problem, BMC issue, or other external factors, it is necessary to wait for some time to take effect.
