Search for available racks
You may specify device information to search for available racks in which to install the device.
Go to the ‘Racks’ tab on the ‘Devices and Racks’ page. Enter the ‘Device Size’ and ‘Device De-rated Power’, and then click Search. Then the racks matching the requirements will be listed.
The search for space capacity considers the continuous space of a rack. It works only when the information for continuous rack space is available. You need to specify the location of all devices currently in a rack to make the continuous rack space information available.
The available power capacity is calculated based on the current power consumption.
The available power capacity is calculated based on the maximum power consumption observed in the history.
The available power capacity is calculated based on the de-rated power of the devices.
