System Management Module 3 (SMM3)
The hot-swappable System Management Module 3 (SMM3) is the management device for the enclosure. SMM 3 provides integrated systems management functions and controls the power of the enclosure. It also provides remote browser and CLI-based user interfaces for remote access via the dedicated Gigabit Ethernet port. Remote access is to both the management functions of the enclosure as well as the XClarity Controller (XCC) in each server.
Integrated network support

Mobile access to Lenovo Service Information website
The solution provides a QR code on the system service label, which is on the inside of the DWC tray cover, that you can scan using a QR code reader and scanner with a mobile device to get quick access to the Lenovo Service Information website. The Lenovo Service Information website provides additional information for parts installation, replacement videos, and error codes for solution support.
Active Energy Manager
Lenovo XClarity Energy Manager is a power and temperature management solution for data centers. You can monitor and manage the power consumption and temperature of Converged, NeXtScale, System x, and ThinkServer solutions, and improve energy efficiency using Lenovo XClarity Energy Manager.
Optional power capabilities
Depending on the system configurations, the solution requires up to four 15000W DWC Power Conversion Station (PCS) installed in the enclosure.NoteDo not mix PCS in the same unit of solution.
