Remove the PCIe expansion node power board

Use this information to remove the PCIe expansion node power board.

Before you remove the PCIe expansion node power board:
  1. Read the following section(s) to ensure that you work safely.
  2. If the compute-expansion node assembly is installed in the enclosure, remove it (see Remove the compute-expansion node assembly from the enclosure).

  3. Remove the rear cable cover (see Remove the rear cable cover).

  4. Remove both riser assemblies from the expansion node (see Remove a PCIe adapter from the riser cage).

  5. Remove all the other cables connected to the power board.

Complete the following steps to remove the PCIe expansion node power board.
  1. Remove the screws that secure the expansion node power board.

  2. Slide the power board slightly forward to disengage and remove it.
