GPU power and maximum number of trays in the enclosure

Follow the information in this section to determine GPU power setting and number of trays in the enclosure.

There are three GPU power capping modes for SD650-N V3. Each mode supports different maximum number of tray installed in the DW612S enclosure, which are listed in the guideline below. Make sure to follow the guideline when configuring GPU power capping or changing number of trays in the enclosure.

Guideline on GPU power capping and maximum tray number in the enclosure:

  • TGP Max mode: 700W (default mode, maximum 4 trays in the enclosure)

  • TGP User selected optimal: 600W (maximum 5 trays in the enclosure)

  • TGP User selected minimum: 500W (maximum 6 trays in the enclosure)

Mismatching GPU power capping value and maximum tray number may cause GPU performance impact.
