Remove the expansion filler
Follow instructions in this section to remove the expansion filler.

If the node is installed in an enclosure or mounted, remove the node from the enclosure or mount. See Configuration guide.
Procedure
Remove the expansion filler.
Loosen the two screws that secure the expansion filler to the node.
Carefully hold the expansion filler by its edges and remove it from the node.Figure 1. Removing the expansion filler
After you finish
- Install a replacement unit or an expansion kit into the empty slot.
