Remove the expansion kit
Follow instructions in this section to remove the expansion kit.

If the node is installed in an enclosure or mounted, remove the node from the enclosure or mount. See Configuration guide.
Procedure
Remove the expansion kit.
Remove the three screws that secure the expansion kit to the node.
Loosen the captive screw located on the rear of the server with the screw driver.
Lift up the expansion kit and remove it from the node.Figure 1. Removing the expansion kit
After you finish
- Install a replacement unit or an expansion filler into the empty slot.
