Install the VGA cable

Use this information to install the VGA cable.

Before you install the VGA cable, complete the following steps:

  1. Read Safety and Installation Guidelines to ensure that you work safely.

To install the VGA cable, complete the following steps:

  1. Insert the VGA cable into the slot on the front chassis; then, install the screws to secure the VGA cable.

  2. Connect the VGA cable to the connector on the system board.
    Note
    Make sure the VGA cable routes same as shown.

  3. Push the VGA cable cover into the slot until the clips are locked.

After you install the VGA cable, complete the following steps:

  1. Install the top cover onto the server (see Install the top cover).

  2. Install the server into the rack if necessary.

  3. Reconnect power cords and all external cables.
