Remove the VGA cable (2.5-inch drive model)

Use this information to remove the VGA cable for the 2.5-inch drive model.

About this task

Attention
  • Read the following section(s) to ensure that you work safely.

  • Turn off the server. Disconnect the power cords and all external cables. See Power off the server.

  • If the server is installed in a rack, remove the server from the rack.

  1. Make preparations for this task.
    1. Remove the top cover. See Remove the top cover.
    2. Remove the front operator panel (2.5-inch drive model). See Remove the front operator panel (2.5-inch drive model).
  2. Remove the VGA cable.

    1. Remove the two screws that secure the VGA connector.
    2. Push the VGA connector out of the front I/O assembly.
