Complete the following steps until the problem is solved:

1. Ensure that the LXPM and RAID adapter firmware are at the latest levels.
2. Check the following path and ensure the driver health of the RAID adapter is normal. If there is a failure reported, follow the actions indicated in the message. LXPM -> UEFI Setup -> System Settings -> Driver Health
3. Verify proper physical connection of the disk drive, SAS expander (if applicable) and RAID adapter.
4. Check the following path to ensure that the drives are not locked and are in a RAID creatable state (such as UGOOD, Non-RAID, and Ready). LXPM -> UEFI Setup -> System Settings -> Storage
5. Reboot the machine and retry to create a new virtual disk.
6. If the problem persists, collect service data logs and contact Lenovo Support.
