Install the air baffle
Follow instructions in this section to install the air baffle.

Attention
For proper cooling and airflow, reinstall the air baffle before you turn on the server. Operating the server with the air baffle removed might damage server components.
Procedure
Note
Close the retaining clip on each end of the memory module connector before installing the air baffle for proper cooling.

- Align the air baffle tabs with the air baffle slots on both sides of the chassis; then, lower the air baffle into the server.
- Slightly press the air baffle down until it is securely seated.
After you finish
Reinstall the M.2 backplane if needed. See Install an M.2 drive.
