Update the firmware

Go to Lenovo Datacenter Support site for the latest firmware update package.

To update the firmware from a flash device, complete the following steps:

Go to Drivers and Software download website for ThinkSystem ST45 V3. All the downloadable firmware packages for ST45 V3 are available on this site.
Download the latest version of firmware update packages.
Follow Lenovo XClarity Essentials Bootable Media Creator (BoMC) and Lenovo XClarity Provisioning Manager Lite (LXPM Lite) instructions to update the firmware.

Note

BoMC can support all system firmware except HDD. For details, see Lenovo XClarity Essentials Bootable Media Creator.
LXPM Lite only supports UEFI firmware update. For details, see Lenovo XClarity Provisioning Manager Lite.
