ThinkAgile CP product components

All hardware elements are abstracted by the software defined private cloud platform. The ThinkAgile CP network, compute, and storage hardware are completely cloud-managed, via the Cloud Controller, which makes it easy to build, manage, and monitor your cloud from any Web browser.

As a completely software defined cloud, the system is comprised of the following software defined elements:

  • Storage block
    ThinkAgile CP Storage provides the application and data storage layer of the ThinkAgile CP platform. It combines the benefits of the network layer with the benefits of all-flash storage capacity for advanced resource pooling, elasticity, accelerated application performance and service delivery.
  • Compute block
    The ThinkAgile CP compute block delivers the processing (CPU and memory) resources for the ThinkAgile CP platform. The compute block consists of server nodes inside of a hardware enclosure, and this block is expandable by adding CPU or memory. The architecture enables compute workloads to scale quickly, simply and as needed without the expense and inefficiency of over-provisioning. There is no upper limit to the maximum number of compute blocks. You can start with one node and scale to thousands of nodes.
  • Interconnect switch
    The ThinkAgile CP platform consists of the ThinkAgile CP interconnect switch that connects the Cloud Controller to your environment.
  • ThinkAgile CP Cloud Controller
    The ThinkAgile CP platform is managed by the ThinkAgile CP Cloud Controller, which gives you a secure, web-based portal that provides multi-stack, single pane-of-glass management, control, and orchestration of the platform resources. The ThinkAgile CP Cloud Controller also enables you to receive on-going improvements, with free, non-disruptive upgrades, enhancements and new capabilities. The portal is deployed within the Amazon Web Services (AWS) secure cloud services platform.
