Remove a a hot-swap PMC module from a power shelf

Follow instructions in this section to remove a a hot-swap PMC module from a power shelf.

About this task

Attention
  • Read Installation Guidelines and Safety inspection checklist to ensure that you work safely.
  • Touch the static-protective package that contains the component to any unpainted metal surface on the server; then, remove it from the package and place it on a static-protective surface.

Procedure

Remove the hot-swap PMC module.
  1. Press and hold the release tab.
  2. Grasp the PMC module and pull it out of the power shelf.
