Configuring operating-system kernel parameters

OS kernel parameters are used by Lenovo Support to optimize the XClarity Administrator operating system.

Attention
Do not modify the settings on this page unless directed to do so by Lenovo Support. Changing these settings might cause XClarity Administrator to become unstable.
You can change the following operating-system kernel parameter from the Administration > OS Kernel Parameters page.
  • MTU probing. Allows the operating system to find the optimal maximum transmission unit (MTU) when an ICMP black hole is detected. Enabling this function might solve network issues when uploading service data to Lenovo.
