Uninstalling Lenovo XClarity Integrator Service

The following procedure describes how to uninstall Lenovo XClarity Integrator Service.

Note
Skip steps 4–6 if you want to upgrade it to a later version. Otherwise, permanently delete the database files by doing steps 4–6.

Procedure

  1. On the Windows operating system, click Control Panel ➙ Uninstall a program. The Uninstall or change a program page opens.
  2. Right-click Lenovo XClarity Integrator Service, and then click Uninstall.
    Note
    For Lenovo SCVMM Add-in v3.3.0 or earlier version, the application name is “Lenovo XClarity Integrator Unified Service”.
  3. Remove Lenovo XClarity Integrator Service data from the database.
  4. Do one of the following to delete the database files based on your needs:

    • For SQL server database, delete the %hostname%LXCIDB database from the SQL server.

    • For PostgreSQL database, delete the %USERPROFILE%\postgresql_data folder on Windows 2012 or earlier version, or delete the %SystemDrive%\ ProgramData\Lenovo\postgresql_data folder on Windows 2016 or later version.

  5. Delete the application folder %SystemDrive%\Program Files (x86)\Lenovo\Lenovo XClarity Integrator Service.
  6. Delete the configuration files from the folder %SystemDrive%\ProgramData\Lenovo\LXCI\UUS.
