Using the Lenovo XClarity Integrator Add-in

This section provides information about importing and starting the Lenovo XClarity Integrator Add-in for Microsoft System Center Virtual Machine Manager. It also provides procedures for setting host authentication, setting Rolling System preferences, and adding an baseboard management controller (BMC).

  • Importing Lenovo XClarity Integrator Add-in
    You must import the Lenovo XClarity Integrator Add-in zip file into SCVMM manually. After the InstallShiled Wizard completes, the Lenovo XClarity Integrator Add-in zip file is copied into a specified folder. Use following the procedure to import it.
  • Starting Lenovo XClarity Integrator Add-in
    After importing the Lenovo XClarity Integrator Add-in zip file, use the procedure in this section to start the Lenovo XClarity Integrator Add-in.
  • Logging in to Integrator Service
    After clicking the Lenovo XClarity Integrator icon at the top of the SCVMM console, the Integrator Service login page is displayed. You can use this page to log in to Integrator Service from a local or remote SCVMM server to perform operations hosts, clusters, chassis, racks, and Lenovo XClarity Administrator instances that are managed by the target Integrator Service.
