Certification

Lenovo XClarity Integrator ensures the security of your connection to the Integrator Service by verifying the certificates. You will be warned if the certificates are not secure.

Note
Lenovo XClarity Integrator uses a self-signed certificate chain in default settings. You can see the warning that the CA root certificate is untrusted during login. Check Trust the certificate permanently if you are sure the certificates are valid, or uncheck it to ignore the checking of this connection. If you choose not to trust the certificate permanently, several system warnings will be displayed, depending on the security settings of your system:
  1. “Content within this application coming from the Web site listed below is being blocked by Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration.” The listed Web site could be one of “about:blank”, “about:internet”, or “security_VmmAdminUI.exe”.

    • Click Close to suppress the warning, or click Add... to add a permanent exception.

  2. “Navigation to the webpage was canceled”

Right-click on the page and select Refresh, or hit F5.

  3. “There is a problem with this Web site’s security certificate.”

Click Continue to this Web site (not recommended)..
