Installing Lenovo XClarity Integrator Add-in

Information about installing Lenovo XClarity Integrator Add-in is provided.

Before you begin

You must be logged in as a user with Administrator privileges to install Lenovo XClarity Integrator Add-in.

Procedure

  1. Download the Lenovo XClarity Integrator Add-in Installer from the XClarity Integrator download page at Lenovo XClarity Integrator for Microsoft System Center Web site.
  2. Double-click the Lenovo XClarity Integrator Add-in installer file.
    The Welcome screen displays.
  3. Select one of the following installation modes:
    Full Installation
    This option installs all components, including Lenovo XClarity Integrator Service and the Lenovo XClarity Integrator Add-in console
    Console Only
    This option installs only console-related components.
  4. Install the package according to prompts on InstallShield wizard.
  5. After the installation completes, follow the steps in Importing Lenovo XClarity Integrator Add-in.
  6. Select one of the following database for Lenovo XClarity Integrator Service based on your actual conditions:

    • PostgreSQL database: When selecting this database, a local PostgreSQL that provides PostgreSQL information and Lenovo XClarity Integrator Service should be installed on the same server.

    • SQL server database: When selecting this database, SQL server information is required.
