Only managing the BMC of servers already managed by Operations Manager

By default, XClarity Integrator Service can be used to manage any supported Lenovo server independent of Operations Manager. After you select the check box of Only manage the BMC of servers already managed by SCOM, XClarity Integrator Service will only manage the servers that are being managed by Operations Manager. To enable or disable this function, do as follows:

Procedure

1. Log in to XClarity Integrator Service. Refer to Logging in to XClarity Integrator Service.
2. On the Lenovo XClarity Integrator Service window, click BMC Management Settings in the left panel.
3. Select or clear the check box of Only manage the BMC of servers already managed by SCOM, and then click Save.
   Note

   Once you select this check box, XClarity Integrator Service will automatically stop managing any server that is unknown to Operations Manager.
