System Lockdown Mode

When System Lockdown Mode is active, the system can not be booted up, and the access to SED AK is not allowed.
Log in to Lenovo XClarity Controller web interface, and go to to configure the security features.
Motion Detection
When Motion Detection is enabled, the system detects physical movements and enters System Lockdown Mode automatically when the system is moved unexpectedly.
Select one of the following options for Motion Detection to control the feature:
Disabled: The feature is disabled.
NoteEnable Motion Detection feature after the system locates at the final operating location. When Motion Detection is enabled, the security battery would be consumed, and the system enters System Lockdown Mode if the security battery is exhausted.Step Counter: The system detects the movement and counts the steps. When the counted steps reach the threshold, the system enters System Lockdown Mode. To reset the step counter, click the Reset Step Counter button.
Significant Motion: The system detects the significant motion that indicates the system being unexpectedly moved from the operating location. When a significant motion is detected, the system enters System Lockdown Mode.
Chassis Intrusion Detection
When Chassis Intrusion Detection is Enabled, the system detects physical movements of the node covers. If one of the node covers is opened unexpectedly, the system enters System Lockdown Mode automatically.
