Install the fan cage

Follow instructions in this section to install the fan cage.

Procedure

Install the fan cage.
  1. Align the guide slots on the fan cage with the guide pins on the chassis, and lower the fan cage into the chassis.
  2. Rotate the release latches down until they stop.
    Note
    Press the fan modules to make sure they are seated correctly on the system board.

After you finish

  1. Reinstall the fans if needed. See Install a fan.

  2. Complete the parts replacement. See Complete the parts replacement.
