Remove the external LCD diagnostics handset

Follow instructions in this section to remove the external LCD diagnostics handset.

Procedure

Disconnect the external LCD diagnostics handset cable.
  1. Press and hold on the latch on the side of the connector.
  2. Pull to disconnect the cable from the server.

Depending on your configuration, the server and the location of the connector might look different from those shown in the illustrations.

After you finish

  • Install a replacement unit. See Install the external LCD diagnostics handset.
