Disassemble the PSU interposer for recycle

Follow the instructions in this section to disassemble the PSU interposer before recycling.

Procedure

1. Pull the system shuttle out of the chassis, and place it onto the lift platform. See Remove the system shuttle.
2. Disconnect the cables from the PSU interposer.
3. Remove the PSU interposer.
   1. Pull out the two plungers.
   2. Rotate the two release latches to disengage the PSU interposer from the power distribution board.
   3. Grasp the PSU interposer by its edges and carefully pull it out of the power complex.
      Note

      The following illustration uses the 12V PSU interposer as an example, but the removal procedures are identical for the 54V interposer.

4. Disassemble the PSU interposer.

   • 12V PSU interposer

     1. Remove the two screws and two washers to detach the two release latches.
     2. Remove the four screws to detach the two metal latches.
     3. Remove the three screws to detach the bracket.
