Remove a hot-swap fan (front and rear)
Follow instructions in this section to remove a front or rear hot-swap fan.

Procedure
Press and hold the orange latch to release the fan.
Grasp the fan and carefully pull it out of the server.NoteA front fan is used as an example in the illustration, but the removal method is the same for rear fans.Figure 3. Hot-swap fan removal
