Backups of ZFS (FreeNAS)

For clean backups to be created for application instances in ThinkAgile CP, the filesystem is frozen before the backup is taken and is thawed afterwards.

ZFS (the filesystem used by freeNAS) has no freeze/thaw operation. Therefore, backups of this filesystem will be crash-consistent, not application-consistent. If multiple filesystems are present in an application instance, backups of the supported filesystems will be application-consistent, but backups of the ZFS filesystem will not.
