Installing the bezel

Use this information to install the bezel.

Read the safety information in Safety and Installation guidelines.

If you are replacing a server component in the server, you need to turn off the server and peripheral devices, and disconnect the power cords and all external cables.

To install the bezel, complete the following steps.

1. Unlock the left-side cover, using the key that comes with the server.
   Note

   You must unlock the left-side cover to open or remove the bezel. When you lock the left-side cover, it locks both the cover and the bezel.
2. Align the hinge assemblies with the hinge trough on the chassis.
3. Push the hinges into the troughs on the chassis until they snap into place.

4. Swing the bezel to close it.
5. Lock the left-side cover and the bezel door
