Neighbor group setup
Use the information in this topic to setup neighbor group.
A neighbor group is formed on the XCC web page by specifying the Group Name.
Ensure that the new group name is unique and does not exist in local network segment.
After a new group is formed:
Current XCC instance is automatically added to it.
Current XCC instance becomes the leader node of the new XCC neighbor group.
All other XCC instances in the same local network segment are notified immediately and each server’s XCC neighbor discovery webpage will get updated.
Leader node of a group can select one neighbor server or multiple neighbor servers to join the group by specifying the neighbor server’s XCC administrator credential.
Once the neighbor node(s) verify the user credential successfully, they accept the request from the leader node and then joins this group as new member(s).
