1 RJ-45 management port status LED

Use these LEDs to monitor the status of the RJ-45 management port. The states of the LEDs are as follows:

OffNoneThe Link is down. Ensure that both near-end and far-end connectors are fully seated and verify cable integrity.
Solid onYellowThe link is established.
BlinkingGreenThe link is connected with active traffic.
Solid onGreenThe link is connected with no active traffic.

2 QSFP28 port status LEDs

Use these LEDs to monitor the status of the QSFP28 port. The states of the LEDs are as follows:

OffNoneThe link is down. Check the cable.
BlinkingYellowA link error has been detected. Verify cable integrity and replace it if needed.
BlinkingGreenThe link is established with active traffic.
Solid onGreenThe link is established with no active traffic.

3 System status LED

Use this LED to monitor the status of the system. The states of the LED are as follows:

BlinkingGreenThe System is booting. The boot process may take up to five minutes to complete.
Solid onGreenThe System is powered on and operating normally.
Solid onRedA critical error has occurred.

4 System fan status LED

Use this LED to monitor the status of the system fans. The states of the LED are as follows:

OffNoneThe System is booting.
Solid onGreenAll fans are operating normally.
Solid onRedOne or more fans have malfunctioned. Identify and replace the failed fan.

5 System power status LED

Use this LED to monitor the power status of the system. The states of the LED are as follows:

OffNoneAC power loss detected across all power supply units.
Blinking (1 HZ)GreenAC input is detected, but only the 12VSB is active. The power supply unit is in a Smart-on state.
Solid onGreenThe power supply unit is operating normally.
BlinkingYellowThe power supply unit continues to operate, but warning events have been detected. These include over-temperature, high power, over-current events, or degraded fan speed.
Solid onYellow
  • The AC cord is disconnected or AC power has been lost while the second power supply still has AC input power. Ensure the AC cord is securely connected to the inactive unit.
  • A power supply unit failure has occurred. Verify input voltage.

6 System ID button/LED

Use this system ID button and the system ID LED to visually locate the system. The states of the LED are as follows:
