Setting up PXE network boot

To set up your server to attempt a Preboot Execution Environment network boot, use the information in this topic.

Use the PXE Network Boot option to set up an attempt to preboot the server Execution Environment. Perform the following steps to set up your server to attempt a Preboot Execution Environment network boot at the next server restart.
  1. Log in to the IMM2. For more information, see Logging in to the IMM2 for additional information.
  2. Click Server Management; then, select PXE Network Boot.

    The following window opens.

  3. Select Attempt PXE Network Boot at next server restart from the Action options. The following window opens.

    If you wish to cancel the selection, click CancelPxeBoot. The following Confirm Cancel window opens.
