Complete the following steps until the problem is solved:

  1. Ensure the proper connection of hard drives, backplane, and related cables.
  2. Ensure that the device firmware is at the latest level.
  3. Reflash the XCC/BMC firmware to the latest version.
  4. Reflash the UEFI firmware to the latest version.
  5. Restart the BMC, and then reboot the system.
  6. Retry the operation.
  7. If the problem persists, collect service data logs and contact Lenovo Support.
