PMB status LED

This topic provides information about the PMB status LED and corresponding action suggestions.

Note
Depending on the model, your server might look slightly different from the illustration.

The following minimal configuration is required for the server to start:

  • One DRAM memory module in DIMM slot 1

  • Depending on the model, one of the following power source:
    • One 300W external power adapter
    • AC power source input
    • DC power source input
  • One 2280 NVMe M.2 drive in Slot 1 on the I/O module board

  • Two system fans

The source power is delivered to the system board normally. The server is or is ready to be powered on.

The source power is not delivered to the system board normally:
  • The power source may not be connected or working properly.
  • Check if the external power cords are correctly connected to the server and to a functioning power source.
  • Check to see if the connection of the cables between the power module board (PMB) and the power input board (PIB) module is stable.
  • Replace the PMB or the PIB module.
