Disassemble the system-board assembly for recycle

Follow the instructions in this section to disassemble the system board before recycling.

Before disassembling the system board:

  1. Remove the system-board assembly from the server (see Remove and replace the system-board assembly).

  2. Refer to local environmental, waste or disposal regulations to ensure compliance.

Complete the step below to disassemble the system board:

Remove the seven screws to separate system board from supporting sheet metal:
