Memory Mode

In this mode, DCPMMs act as volatile system memory, while DRAM DIMMs act as cache. Only DCPMM capacity is displayed as system memory in this mode. Ensure that the ratio of DRAM DIMM capacity to DCPMM capacity is between 1:2 and 1:16.

Before installing DCPMM, refer to Memory configuration and Configure DC Persistent Memory Module (DCPMM) for the requirements.

Note

1. For 256 GB DCPMM, use 16 GB RDIMM.

2. For 512 GB DCPMM, use 16 GB or 32 GB RDIMM. To install four 512 GB DCPMMs, ensure that the processor TDP is lower than or equal to 125 watts.
