PCIe expansion cage replacement

Use this information to remove and install the PCIe expansion cage.

Two types of expansion cages are available:

• 3-slot expansion cage.

• 4-slot expansion cage.

The procedures for replacing the PCIe expansion cage are the same for both types.

Note

Both PCIe expansion cages in the server must be the same type.
