Install the MicroSD card

Follow instructions in this section to install the MicroSD card. The procedure must be executed by a trained technician.

About this task

Attention
  • Read Installation Guidelines and Safety inspection checklist to ensure that you work safely.
  • Touch the static-protective package that contains the component to any unpainted metal surface on the server; then, remove it from the package and place it on a static-protective surface.

Procedure

  1. Place the MicroSD card into the socket.
  2. Close the socket lid.
  3. Slide the socket lid to the lock position.

After you finish

  1. If applicable, reinstall the PCIe riser assembly 2. See Install a PCIe riser assembly.
  2. Reinstall the 2U compute shuttle. See Install the 2U compute shuttle.
  3. Complete the parts replacement. See Complete the parts replacement.
