Complete the following steps until the problem is solved:

  1. Review PD Steps by confirming the RAID array is in failed state.
  2. Note: Notify the customer that the data has been lost and a new RAID volume will have to be created.
  3. Replace the affected disk drive(s) that is indicated by a fault LED or the system event log.
  4. Clear RAID configuration and create a new RAID array.
  5. Restore data from backup.
  6. If problem persists, escalate to next level of support.
