Disassemble the lower processor board (MB) for recycle

Follow the instructions in this section to disassemble the lower processor board (MB) before recycling.

About this task

Before disassembling the lower processor board (MB), refer to local environmental, waste or disposal regulations to ensure compliance.

Procedure

  1. Remove six screws from the bottom of the lower processor board (MB) and remove the three lower processor board (MB) brackets.

  2. Remove the four screws that secure the lower processor board (MB) handle; then, remove the lower processor board (MB) handle.

  3. Remove twenty-one screws and separate the lower processor board (MB) from the supporting sheet metal.

After you finish

After disassembling the lower processor board (MB), recycle the unit in compliance with local regulations.
