Lower processor board (MB) LEDs

The following illustrations show the light-emitting diodes (LEDs) on the lower processor board (MB).

Press the power button to light the LEDs on the lower processor board (MB) when the power source has been removed from the server.

LEDDescription and actions

1 M.2 Slot 2 activity LED (Green)

  • On: M.2 Slot 2 active.

  • Off: M.2 Slot 2 not active.

2 M.2 Slot 1 activity LED (Green)

  • On: M.2 Slot 1 active.

  • Off: M.2 Slot 1 not active.

3 FPGA heartbeat LED (Green)

  • Blinking (about one flash per second): FPGA is working normally.

  • On or off: FPGA is not working.

    1. Replace the lower processor board (MB).

    2. If the problem remains, contact Lenovo Support.

4 Power fault LED (Amber)

  • Off: System normal.

  • Blinking (about one flash per second): System fault occurred.

    1. Check the power supply unit (PSU), power interposer board, and power distribution board. If the PSU, power interposer board, or power distribution board has any error, replace it.

    2. If the PSU, power interposer board, and power distribution board is error free, replace the lower processor board (MB).

5 ME heartbeat LED (Green)

  • Blinking (about one flash per second): System normal.

  • OFF: System fault occurred.

6 P5V_AUX status LED (Green)

  • On: P5V_AUX power is present.

  • Off: P5V_AUX is not ready.
