Lenovo XClarity Integrator for Microsoft Windows Admin Center

Lenovo XClarity Integrator for Microsoft Windows Admin Center is a plug-in that integrates functions for managing, monitoring, and updating Lenovo servers and their components. It supports viewing Lenovo server hardware and firmware inventories, events, alerts, and health status, as well as updating firmware/drivers, cluster-aware rolling update of firmware/drivers for Azure Stack HCI cluster nodes, displaying Lenovo ThinkAgile MX server topology views, and facilitates storage pool operations through wizards. Lenovo XClarity Administrator (optional) streamlines the Lenovo server management job, especially for large-scale deployments.

Lenovo XClarity Integrator for WAC includes the following functionality for nodes in a ThinkAgile MX solution:

  • Surfaces hardware alerts within WAC
  • Firmware/driver update snap-in for Azure Stack HCI cluster creation
  • Firmware/driver update package repository management
  • Firmware/driver update based on ThinkAgile MX Best Recipe or a compliance policy
  • Firmware/driver update without the need for Lenovo XClarity Administrator installation
  • Management of disks used by cluster nodes

Lenovo XClarity Integrator for WAC provides multiple features that can be used to ensure compliance with ThinkAgile MX Best Recipe levels of firmware and device driver software, but its use is not mandatory.
