- If an action step is preceded by (Trained service technician only), that step must be performed only by a Trained service technician.

Symptom | Action |

The fans are running at an abnormally high revolutions per minute (RPM). The TEMP LED may or may not be lit. | - Check to see if the system inlet perforation or heatsinks are clogged.
- Make sure that all baffles are installed correctly in the server.
- Check the thermal grease on the microprocessor. Make sure the thermal grease is not contaminated.
