Server controls, LEDs, and power

This section describes the controls and light-emitting diodes (LEDs) and how to turn the server on and off.

• Server power features
  When the server is connected to an ac power source but is not turned on, the operating system does not run, and all core logic except for the TMM is shutdown.

¹ Racks are measured in vertical increments of 4.45 cm (1.75 inches) each. Each increment is called a "U." A 1-U-high device is 1.75 inches tall
