Remove the MicroSD card

Follow instructions in this section to remove the MicroSD card.

About this task

Attention

Procedure

  1. Make preparation for this task.
    1. Remove the 2U compute shuttle. See Remove the 2U compute shuttle.
    2. Remove the processor air baffle. See Remove the processor air baffle.
  2. Locate the MicroSD card on the system I/O board.
  3. Remove the MicroSD card.
    1. Slide the socket lid to the open position.
    2. Lift open the socket lid.
    3. Remove the MicroSD card from the socket.

After you finish

  1. Install a replacement unit (see Install the MicroSD card).

  2. If you are instructed to return the component or optional device, follow all packaging instructions, and use any packaging materials for shipping that are supplied to you.
