Install the LOM adapter

Follow the instructions in this section to install the LOM adapter.

Note

When both LOM adapter and ML2 adapter are installed to the server, the system can support up to two additional network adapters.

To install the LOM adapter, complete the following steps:

Open the retention latch.
Align the LOM adapter to the connector, and push it in.
Tighten the captive thumbscrew to lock it to the system board.
