SSL Settings
The Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol was created by Netscape to ensure secure transactions between Web servers and browsers. The protocol uses a third party, a Certificate Authority (CA), to identify one end or both ends of the transactions.
This section is used to configure an SSL certificate into the BMC. Using this, the device can be accessed in a secured mode.
To open the SSL Settings page, click .
Generate CSR: used to generate a certificate signing request (CSR).
Download CSR: used to download a generated CSR.
Import Signed Certificate: used to import a signed certificate.
Generate SSL Certificate: used to generate an SSL certificate based on configuration details.
View SSL Certificate: used to view an uploaded SSL certificate in readable format.
Download SSL Certificate: used to download a generated SSL certificate.
