Security key validation attempts exceeded
There were at least 20 consecutive unsuccessful attempts to validate the security key for the storage array.
This condition is a security feature that prevents possible tampering with the storage array or an unauthorized user attempting to retrieve the security key for the storage array.
The storage array will no longer accept security key validation requests until it is power cycled.
Always use proper antistatic protection when handling components. Touching components without using a proper ground may damage the equipment.
Recovery Steps
Do you know your security key pass phrase?
If yes, go to step 2.
If no, contact your Technical Support Engineer.
Stop I/O from all hosts connected to the storage array and wait at least five minutes to ensure that any data in the controller's cache is written to the storage array's drives.
Select the Save icon in the Recovery Guru to save the remaining steps to a file. These steps will no longer be accessible after you complete step 4.
Turn off power to all power-fan canisters in the controller shelf.
Wait 30 seconds and then turn power back on to all power-fan canisters in the controller shelf. After all drives have completed the spin-up process, go to step 6.
Select Recheck to ensure the problem has been resolved.
