Security key validation attempts exceeded
There were at least 20 consecutive unsuccessful attempts to validate the security key for the storage array.
- This condition is a security feature that prevents possible tampering with the storage array or an unauthorized user attempting to retrieve the security key for the storage array.
- The storage array will no longer accept security key validation requests until it is power cycled.
Always use proper antistatic protection when handling components. Touching components without using a proper ground may damage the equipment.
Recovery Steps
- Do you know your security key pass phrase? - If yes, go to step 2.
- If no, contact your Technical Support Engineer.

- Stop I/O from all hosts connected to the storage array and wait at least five minutes to ensure that any data in the controller's cache is written to the storage array's drives.

- Turn off power to all power-fan canisters in the controller shelf.
