Exporting configuration items to Lenovo Configuration Pack CAB file

The following procedure describe how to export the Lenovo Configuration Pack CAB file.

Procedure

1. From the Lenovo Configuration Pack Editor menu, click Export > Export Configuration item to Configuration for SCCM 2007 or Export Configuration item to Configuration for SCCM 2012, whichever is applicable.

   The Export to Lenovo Configuration Pack page opens and provides a list of configuration items, their version number, and a brief description.

2. Select the individual configuration items that you want to export or click Select All, and then click Continue.
   Note

   The version of a configuration item is an internal variable that cannot be modified directly. SCCMDCM uses the version to evaluate whether a configuration item should be updated. When configuration data is updated in Configuration Manager, previous versions are overwritten, providing clients with the latest version for evaluation.

   The Export to Lenovo Configuration Pack file window opens.

3. Enter the File name and click Save.
   A message is displayed indicating that the export succeeded.

4. Click OK.
